Year 6

Monday 18th May 2020

This week is the last week of home learning until after the Whit holidays when our activities will resume again on Monday 8th June.

We hope you are all well and staying safe! Have you had a go at our family quiz on our Facebook yet?
Click here to watch the staff message video if you haven't seen it already!

It is very important to continue working daily on TT Rockstars, Spelling Shed and Read Theory so that you can improve your basic skills in English and Maths as we begin the Summer Term and you begin to prepare for moving on to your high schools. Mr Glynn will be monitoring how frequently pupils are accessing these online resources and will be on hand to offer any support where needed via Seesaw as he has previously done. Alternatively, if you need any further help or support, please email: contactststephens@gmail.com

Today, we have uploaded our next learning project which will run for one week for Year 6.

The purpose of the learning projects are to provide pupils and families with a few little extras to keep them busy. We don't expect you to complete every task but have a go at most of the activities based on the given theme. The activities are fun, creative and can be resourced easily at home so that families do not need to go to any cost or extra effort. We already appreciate the time and effort our families are putting in by supporting their children with their learning. The Word document is attached below so that you can click on the web links provided by staff.

It is wonderful for us to see what you are getting up to! If you can and are able to, please share a picture/video to our Facebook page or you can email contactststephens@gmail.com and your work can be added to our school website.

Please keep a look out on our Home Learning Page as we will be updating this page frequently with resources and links to help the children at home. Again, do as little or as much as you can manage.

Have fun!
