Y6 Residential Trip

Year 6 visited Kingswood, Colomendy in October 2019 for a packed three days of fun and adventure.
The itinerary included:
  • Abseiling
  • Night walk
  • Problem solving challenges
  • Archery
  • Zip Wiring
  • Orienteering
  • Caving
  • Buggy Building
The children experienced new activities that they had never tackled before such as zip wiring, abseiling and buggy building. The children worked as a team throughout the trip to help, support and encourage their friends face new challenges and persevere when they were unsure. They applied problem solving and logic skills, used their map reading skills to great effect during the orienteering challenge and their scientific knowledge when identifying stars on the night walk with our guide, Sid.  The staff were impressed by the courage, confidence and resilience that the children showed throughout the trip in tackling new challenges, facing their fears and supporting their friends.
Thank you to Year 6 for an amazing trip - you are an absolute credit to our school and your families!
